"Many years ago, a few miles outside of a town just beginning, there was a small log cabin beside a great lake..."
So begins a journey through seasons, years and centuries from the perspective of a rural log cabin. Snow falls and thaws, families come and go, new replaces old, and the cabin changes as much as the world around it. The cabin is gradually forgotten to time...until an unexpected event brings rediscovery and new purpose.
Based on a true story, The Forgotten Cabin will immerse readers in the simplicity of early American life, encourage them to reflect on the passage of time, and inspire them to notice the remnants of history around them.
