Christianity is more than just a set of spiritual beliefs, it is actually a complete worldview (i.e. a framework of ideas and beliefs, through which to view and comprehend the world), given to mankind through Divine revelation. Within this all-encompassing worldview there are certain principles and concepts that form its foundation. These principles and concepts are known as The Essential Christian Doctrines. A lack of knowledge concerning the Essential Doctrines increases the chances of a Christian falling prey to false pseudo-Christian doctrines and worldly influences. Also, it can cause non-Christians to have an inaccurate view of Christianity, hindering them from discovering God's love, and the grace and fulfillment God offers through Christ. This book is a very condensed version of the New Testament, which uses an innovative approach to present the New Testament, and the Essential Doctrines in a concise, easy to read, and easy to understand manner. While it is not meant to be a replacement for the full New Testament, with its various features it can however be used to provide to readers a good overview of the New Testament, in a personal or group study setting. But most importantly, it provides for readers a time efficient way to obtain a good and accurate understanding of the Christian worldview and thus of true Christianity.
