Carl Rogers, one of the most influential psychologists of all time, was a pioneer of humanistic psychology and the originator of the person-centered approach. Stephen A. Joseph is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a registered psychotherapist and coaching psychologist. He is an emeritus professor at the University of Nottingham where he was the convenor of the Centre for Research in Human Flourishing. Specializing in humanistic and positive psychology, he is the editor of Positive Psychology in Practice: Promoting Human Flourishing in Work, Health, Education, and Everyday Life (2015), and author of Authentic. How To Be Yourself and Why It Matters (2019).
