Most self-help books are written by people who can feel things. This one isn't.
By chance, in 1998 Hugh Comerford saw a rumpled energy healer in Montreal because a friend said, "Go - he'll amuse you." The experience was so extraordinary that he spent the next 25 years trying to figure out what actually happened when the French-Canadian healer simply put his hands on his shoulders. Dozens of workshops, hundreds of treatments, and thousands of hours of NLP modeling later, The Hümmo Method(TM) was born.
Comerford - NLP Trainer and owner of NLP Centres Canada - didn't set out to build a healing modality. He set out to understand one. What emerged is a structured, repeatable self-healing protocol that integrates NLP, breathwork, and a proprietary system of perceptual proxies called Hümmodalities(TM). People have successfully applied it to chronic pain, anxiety, grief, sleep disruption, and conditions that had resisted every other approach.
The central premise is deliberately unfashionable: you do not need to believe in energy healing for it to work. You don't need to feel "energy." You don't need to meditate, visualize, or surrender to anything. The protocol uses structured breathwork, aimed at one specific destination: unconditional presence.
