THE DEAD ARE RISING.
AND THEY HAVE FOUND THEIR QUEEN.
Ben Callum was meant to die.
He didn't.
Now the consequences of that impossible survival are spreading far beyond him.
In Morocco, the woman he knew as Leila has become something else.
She calls herself Lilith.
And the dead answer when she speaks.
From forgotten graves and ruined cities they rise to follow her-an army that does not sleep, does not fear, and grows with every mile it marches.
Humanity responds with everything it has.
It isn't enough.
As governments mobilise and ancient powers step out from behind myth, the rules that once separated gods, mortals and death itself begin to fracture.
At the centre of it all is Ben.
He is no chosen one.
No prophet.
No saviour.
He is simply the man who should be dead-and isn't.
Something changes around him. Probability bends. Impossible people begin to emerge. Powers that have watched humanity for centuries turn their attention toward one ordinary man who has somehow become an error in the design.
Some want to understand him.
Some want to use him.
Some want him erased before the fracture spreads.
And somewhere beyond the armies and the burning cities, Lilith has not forgotten the man she once knew.
But while gods argue over balance and humanity prepares for a war it cannot understand, Lilith keeps walking.
And everywhere she walks, the dead rise.
THE IVORY MAID is Book 2 of the Transit Star Continuum-a mythic science-fiction thriller of resurrection, ancient powers, impossible survival and a world discovering that its oldest legends were never legends at all.
