Author Biography
Melinda West Seifert is co-founder of LoneStartNow, a hands-on behavioral workplace initiative designed to impart the essential sense of self-belief necessary for long-term lifestyle behavior change. She has won five World Wide Web Health Awards from the Health Information Resource Center, received a Top Health Blogger Award from Wellsphere and has been named to the Health Care Blogger Code of Ethics. Melinda graduated with a B.S. from Newcomb College and earned her M.S. from Tulane University. She lives on a ranch in Texas with her husband, LoneStartNow co-founder Jay Seifert, two horses, six cats, two dogs, a rabbit, and an ever-expanding "test" garden. Their now-adult twin daughters escaped with lives of their own. The Lovely and Talented Star-Baby is indeed a real-life horse. She is a dream and a realization and she is the heart of "The Jesus Horse." If you are a horse lover, you will fall in love. Everyone else, be prepared.
