Have you ever wondered how there could be so many diverse, and often oppositional, perceptions of the same thing? Is it that humans possess such a wide array of lenses that understanding and clear communication become virtually impossible? The three fields of psychology, science and theology have often fallen prey to this problem. In this book, we will look at these three disciplines and explore the notion that all are looking at the same concepts through different lenses, and that each uses a different language to describe that experience. It is also an invitation to those interested in how their journey of healing or personal growth may be impacted by the cultural and dogmatic applications of these three lenses, as well as how engaging differently with these disciplines can affect perceptions, and perhaps alter the journey itself.
