The Map Is Inside of Me
What if the answers your child is searching for have been inside them all along?
Growing up can feel like standing at the beginning of a long, winding path.
Some days feel bright and exciting. Other days feel stormy, overwhelming, confusing, or uncertain. Children are often told to dream big-but they are not always taught what to do when pursuing those dreams feels hard.
The Map Is Inside of Me is a beautifully illustrated journey created to help children understand one powerful truth:
You do not have to have everything figured out to move forward. You simply have to learn how to listen to yourself, understand your emotions, and take the next step.
Through a magical world of glowing paths, open windows, stars, compasses, and gentle reminders, young readers discover that vision is more than having a dream. Vision is learning who you are, what matters to you, and who you are becoming.
Along the journey, children will learn that big feelings are not something to fear.
They will discover their Window of Tolerance-the space where they can think clearly, learn, create, make choices, and keep moving forward. They will also learn that sometimes, especially when they are growing, trying something new, or chasing a big vision, they may step outside of that window.
They may feel overwhelmed.
They may feel anxious.
They may feel frustrated.
They may feel tired, stuck, or unsure.
And that does not mean the journey is over.
It means they are human.
This book gently teaches children that growth can stretch them, learning takes practice, and mistakes are not signs to stop. Every question, every challenge, every brave attempt, and every time they try again becomes part of their path.
Because the truth is:
