In the world of Norse mythology, humans revere the mighty gods and fear the mystical, nature-wielding Jotuns, and Gunhild is a fire Jotun.
Abandoned by her own kind, it becomes clear that Gunhild must fight for what's right and follow her own sense of justice, seeing as no one else will fight for her.
Gunhild is on a mission to become a god, and she needs Loki's help! She departs the only home she's ever known, stows away on a ship, and makes a new friend. Liv knows a little about Loki and how he became a god, so she helps Gunhild in her quest. They need to find Bifrost, the bridge to Asgard. But how?
Together, they sail to Sky Mountain, Heimdal's house. He'll surely know where to look for Loki, but instead he challenges them to a soccer match for information. Can this misfit bunch--a Jotun, a salamander, and a human--beat him? Will Gunhild get the answers she needs?
