The U.S. Navy trained him in the field of optical attack systems where he modified fighter aircraft optical attack systems and performed first article acceptance tests. He designed, developed, and implemented multiple optical alignment tools and procedures for the submarine and surface fleets. He traveled around the world devising Safety and Environmental solutions for the Department of Defense. His early biographical record is listed in Who's Who in Science and Engineering.
