Sanjiv Sarin worked in the corporate world for over forty years in various
leadership roles across the globe, retiring as CEO and MD of Tata Coffee. In
this time, he encountered many challenges and learned many life lessons. But
his biggest learning came when he embarked on a spiritual path that took him
deep into The Art of Living, and he became a practitioner.
When a life-changing moment occurred at the Taj Mahal Hotel on 26/11,
after his rescue, Sanjiv understood even more clearly the value of mindful
living, meditation, and a calm mind. He saw first-hand the value of being a
spiritual practitioner while remaining firmly in the world of business. The
Other Side of the Mountain chronicles Sanjiv's learnings in spirituality and
how he has used them successfully in leadership situations. Full of wisdom,
humour and self-realisation, this book is for anyone trying to make sense of
the modern competitive world and their role in it.
