The Power of Gratitude: 365 Quotes and Scriptures for Healing Your Mind, Body, and Heart is a God-inspired manuscript that provides timeless wisdom and encouragement relating to one of life's most important and transformative ingredients, GRATITUDE. Having a grateful heart is like taking an effective, restorative medicine which is absolutely free and has no adverse side effects. Being thankful, in spite of uncomfortable circumstances, allows us to see that there is so much beauty around us. As we focus on what we have, instead of what we don't, we can get greater clarity about the root of our turmoil which transforms our perception of difficult situations. With "grateful eyes" we can see the priceless treasures in our tribulation; as well as the light shining through life's dark clouds. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ."-Philippians 4: 6-7 (NKJV)
