Not loving the self, or simply not knowing about the importance of loving the self, or never having learned to love the self results in some of the most profound pain a human being can experience. You may believe that the pain of loss, abuse, abandonment, or disloyalty is the deepest pain, and in some sense you are right. Gabriella Kortsch, Ph.D. (Psychology) is the author of Rewiring the Soul (2011), The Tao of Spiritual Partnership (2012), and The Power of Your Heart: Loving the Self (2013). From southern Spain she works in private practice with an international clientele using an integral focus on body, mind and soul. She has published a newsletter in English and Spanish since 2004, facilitates monthly workshops and broadcast a weekly radio show over a period of seven years. She has three sons.
