ABOUT THE AUTHOR: With a background in early childhood teaching, Jacqueline Leung knows how to engage young children. Through working with children, she has become aware of the importance of educating them about the responsibility and care needed to introduce a pet into the family. Not long after she adopted her first pet rabbit, Bella, Jacqui realised there was an urgent need to teach both children and adults about the proper care for these fuzzy creatures. Jacqui created her story, The Rabbit Who Ate Too Many Carrots to inform children and their families about the appropriate diet for pet rabbits. Family health is important (pets included). Jacqui runs incursions at early childhood centres, to instil this knowledge in youngsters through fun, hands-on experiences. Jacqui's way with words and entertaining children makes for fun learning.
