John R. Schneider has spent decades uncovering the stories that shaped New Jersey's coastal heritage. He is the author of A Historical Journey Across Raritan Bay and Sandy Hook: Past & Present. His newest work, The Revolution on Raritan Bay, continues his exploration of the region's vital role in America's struggle for independence. Schneider is the producer and host of Jersey Bayshore Television, a long-running weekly program that features local history, culture, and community life.
