They survived sharing one body. Now they must survive being enemies.
Three months trapped inside a single body should have forged an unbreakable bond between Suraya and Meiling. Instead, it shattered them. Suraya is hailed as Ataru Reborn. Meiling has vanished with the notorious Mikazi Group. The childhood best friends are now farther apart than ever.
As the world's balance begins to fail, the Seven Gates to Nirnasha's Underworld creak open. Ancient spirits and creatures of the Underworld spill out into Malumvia, bringing with them a darkness that even the Divinities cannot contain.
Chosen by the Divinities, Suraya is determined to seal the Gates before darkness consumes Malumvia. Meiling remembers just enough of the spirit bond to know someone stole her life. Now, traveling beside the Mikazi Group, she's determined to make those responsible pay-even if it means opening the Gates the rest of the world is desperate to close.
To save Malumvia, Suraya may have to stop the one person she can't bring herself to abandon.
The Rise of Nirnasha is the third in The Construction of Shadows series.
