Prophecies. Secrets. Power she was born to hide.
Elice has spent her whole life hidden.
Locked away in a secluded cottage, she's grown up under one rule: stay out of sight. With a magic ban enforced by the king and rare elemental powers she can barely control-air, earth, and water bending to her will whether she wants them to or not-her guardian Lenore says it's the only way to keep her safe.
Elice has always believed her. She's never had a reason not to.
Until Lenore vanishes.
Now Elice is breaking every rule she was raised on, venturing into a world that was kept from her for reasons she's only beginning to understand. But the deeper she searches, the stranger things get-especially when she crosses paths with a charming lord and a crown princess who shares her exact face.
Lies have followed her since birth. She just never knew to look for them.
And the truth might unravel everything she thought she knew about who she is, where she came from, and why she was really hidden away.
The Secret Mage is book one of Elice, the Great, a young adult fantasy series that retells the classic fairytale Rapunzel, with slow-burn romance, diverse characters, and themes of coming-of-age, self-discovery, and identity.
