OVERCOMING HATE
In book #2 of the I Can Glow Through Anything series, Faith, (a 5th grade girl who was born with a spectacular glow), loses that glow when Septer the Snake steals something very dear to her heart. The girl becomes angry and expresses strong feelings of hatred toward the snake. Faith's fairy godmother reminds the girl of the unique power she possesses. With the help of her fairy godmother, Faith learns to manage her overwhelming emotions.
Although hate is a "strong word," it remains a very real emotion, particularly for children who have experienced trauma. The Secret of Faith's Glow: Faith Conquers Hate is both motivating and inspirational. The book series empowers kids to confidently deal with issues surrounding trauma. Parents/guardians, educators, adults, and children alike enjoy and appreciate this beautifully illustrated rhyming book series for the positive and uplifting message it conveys about perseverance and the power of faith.
