Over 72% of physicians and 35.5% of nurses are currently experiencing emotional exhaustion. Nurses were more inclined to have intense depersonalization at 54.2%. Nurses also have a double incidence of depression as compared to the national average in the United States.
Emotional traumas, stress response, depression, anxiety, panic attacks are the root cause of approximately 60-80% of all office visits and hospitalizations. Some sources say it is even as high as 90%.
Nurses and providers are experiencing emotional exhaustion and intense depersonalization. How can we continue to care for others when we haven't learned to care for ourselves? As much as 80-90% of diseases processes are rooted in stress, anxiety, and emotional traumas. Could we also have the same disease brewing on our bodies from the continue unchecked stress that we carry around with us on a daily basis as we care for our patients? I was a leader in stress creation and expansion in my life as a family nurse practitioner and family practice owner. Then I turned inward to create a balance of physical care, nutrition, vitamin support, energy work, prayer, positivity, gratitude to change my life around. The tools and techniques to conquer the warfare against internalizing everyone else's energy and needs are in this book. We can be the best health care providers by simply fixing what is in us and then sharing it with the world.
They are easy and they are mandatory if you ever want to be relieved of the crowding emotional baggage that often comes with being a health care provider. We are intuitive and that opens us to experience others pain. It is time to refocus our own care and the care of others. Learn our gift and light is within you, all you have to do is turn it on.
