Staff Sergeant Alexandra Foster has returned from her deployment in Kabul, Afghanistan, but the memories of her time there still haunt her. A year later, she's tried to push aside the horrors she endured, yet the nightmares persist. On the nights when she wakes up screaming, Liam is there to comfort her, helping her cope with the trauma of facing the infamous Shadow and his men.
