The Shrouded Rebel
The year is 1777. War has hit too close to home in Danbury, Connecticut. Brother number six in the Taylor brood, Liam Taylor, is ready to fight for America's freedom. No matter where he goes, he's met with rejection. That is until a brawl breaks out and Liam is forced to intervene. Covered in debris and draped in a black shroud, he takes on four British soldiers one by one and in turn creates an alter-ego: The Rebel.
Neighbor Arden Jones, childhood friend and former tormentor to Liam, hasn't been a British citizen since the age of two. Her father is still of the old ways of thought and wants her to marry a fellow Englishman. Arden does not. She is a patriot and thrills with the opportunity to break from the finishing school existence her father insisted she maintain. But never was that thrill squelched more than the day Colonel Jacob Jenneson of Britain's Royal Army came into her life.
Jacob Jenneson comes to Connecticut eager to once again be married to a docile Englishwoman. His father's colleague, Professor Albert Jones, says his daughter is the perfect person for him. The moment he arrives he's met with more than a new wife; he finds a Rebel keen on making his life a living nightmare. Little does he know that the Rebel is only a distraction for what is really happening in the sleepy town of Danbury.
