Karen Gilhooly is an expert in employee engagement, leadership development, and organizational culture. As a senior executive with over twenty-five years of experience in the financial services industry, she has spearheaded culture transformations at Fortune 500 companies that resulted in higher retention, productivity, and profitability.
Frustrated by the failure of traditional engagement models, Karen developed the groundbreaking Three Bucket Leadership Framework to explain why employees become disengaged at work. Her framework redefines engagement as the willingness to spend one's most precious resource--time and attention--on work that provides meaning. Karen now runs her own consulting firm specializing in leadership development and engagement strategies.
