Charlotte Bergan Cioli moved to Madrid two years ago and is effusive about its finer points in the way of all converts. The trajectory of the book over a long weekend is her love letter to the city; checking back into a hotel as if a tourist and exploring the places that she has returned to again and again, with a fresh eye and the lens of her camera.

Author Biography
Charlotte Bergan Cioli, a photographer and multi-disciplinary artist, finds inspiration in the finer things in life such as architecture, culinary delights, and the rich tapestry of global cultures. Her artistic journey is a reflection of her diverse upbringing and experiences living in various cities. The Weekender Madrid is her second photography book, following on from the acclaimed Weekender Paris, an exploration of the French capital.
