Discover How a Deeper Appreciation of Theology Can Bring You Joy
We were made to know God and enjoy him forever. But in a world overflowing with to-do lists and pragmatic demands, spending time in contemplation of the beauty and glory of God can feel like a luxury--or even an indulgence. Theology for Life makes the case that it is neither. It is the very foundation of everything else.
Pastor-theologian Ronni Kurtz takes a distinctive approach to introducing Christian doctrine. Each chapter does two things: first, it explains a crucial doctrine clearly and accessibly; then, it shows you how to delight in that doctrine and be shaped by it into the person God calls you to be. Good theology, Kurtz argues, isn't simply about learning--it's about living. And it produces not division or drudgery, but joy.
Theology for Life unpacks ten crucial doctrines of the Christian faith--each one explored through the lens of delight:
● Trinity--delighting in your God
● Divine Attributes--delighting in perfection
● Creation--delighting in your Maker
● Scripture--delighting in your authority
● Incarnation--delighting in your Savior
● Justification--delighting in your verdict
● Union with Christ--delighting in your identity
● Preservation--delighting in your security
● Ecclesiology--delighting in your community
● Eschatology--delighting in the end
Before we can adequately serve God, we must actually know him. And as Kurtz shows us, when we truly know him we can't help but delight in him. Theology for Life is your invitation to begin.

● the Trinity
● God's attributes
● Scripture
● justification

● and more
After explaining each doctrine in an insightful and accessible manner, Ronni Kurtz helps us see how to delight in that doctrine and allow it to shape us into the people God calls us to be.
