My mother has dreams about rooms, a characteristic she and I share. We find ourselves in fascinating spaces: rooms from the past, hallways extending endlessly, and dazzling underground chambers. Some rooms are alive, keeping secrets or guiding us along our way.
The pieces in this collection represent these spaces. Every dream, every feeling, every memory and observed moment is a room. They can comfort you, bring you joy, haunt you or trap you the same as any four walls. We visit these places when we need to, spirited away through open doors into memories that build our lives.
Some doors we lock forever.
