Populations have been decimated and London, along with all the great cities, lies in ruins.Hope arrives from the skies in the form of a colonising race of talented and beautiful people who guide the remaining near feral survivors to build themselves a wonderful and idyllic future.But perhaps independence and self-determination are more important than a life of plenty, pleasure and luxury.
Author Biography
Julian Francis (like most of his main characters) is something of an outsider. Despite being on occasional nodding terms with the establishment, he remains, most definitely, not part of it. His stories aim to uncover myth, mystery and quasi-religious magic in the humdrum: questing for possibilities at the end of daydreams; exploring unrealised fantasies and unachievable ambitions. Julian comes from a non-literary background; he originally studied Theatre Design; working in opera, film and TV before rerouting into teaching. He likes foxes, bicycles... and, of course, writing stories.
