All Swifties wear black leather when they listen to Midnights, right?
No? Just Tally then.
Tallulah Belle Atkins is getting her life together in Brooks, Oklahoma-one house, one croissant, and one questionable decision at a time.
This time, it starts with a fake date.
When Tally agrees to attend a high-society party with the mysterious (and mildly unhinged) Beau Culver, her own personal Batman, she expects awkward small talk and overpriced champagne.
She does not expect to find a dead body in a very expensively decorated closet.
When Beau promptly disappears, leaving behind a stash of spy gadgets that raises way more questions than answers, Tally is left to sift through the secrets. Just as she's finding some balance, her grandmother ropes her into helping a friend at a local nursing home, where whispers of stolen medication might just be insanity talking, or something far more sinister.
With her ex-boyfriend and local detective Travis Denham warning her to stay out of it, her best friend back by her side, and a steady stream of Taylor Swift albums guiding her investigation and her identity crisis and a potential ODD diagnosis, Tally is once again in over her head.
Because solving murders is one thing.
Figuring out who you are when you're not just a pretty face?
That's the real mystery.
Smart, funny, and full of twists, Volume Two in The Trouble With Tally series delivers small-town secrets, high-handed drama, and a heroine who refuses to stay in her lane.
