One reckless dare. One dangerous choice. One lesson Tippy Tay will never forget.
Tippy Tay is a friendly, happy little chipmunk who loves being the neighborhood daredevil. He especially enjoys spending time with Pete, an older chipmunk who always seems to have a new challenge ready for him.
But when Pete dares Tippy to cross a busy road on his bike, Tippy faces a choice. He knows his mother warned him about the dangers of the road, but he also wants to prove that he is brave enough to take on Pete's challenge.
What begins as an exciting game quickly becomes a frightening experience that neither friend will forget.
Tippy Tay is a heartfelt story about peer pressure, listening to trusted adults, making responsible choices, and understanding that true courage does not mean taking unnecessary risks. Through Tippy and Pete's experience, young readers are encouraged to think carefully before accepting a dare and to understand that saying no can sometimes be the bravest choice of all.
Inside this meaningful story, children will discover:
- The importance of listening to parents and trusted adults
- How peer pressure can influence our decisions
- Why saying no to a dangerous dare is a sign of courage
- How one choice can have lasting consequences
The story also invites children to stop and think with thought-provoking "What If..." questions that encourage discussion, reflection, and personal decision-making.
Perfect for parents, counselors, and young readers, Tippy Tay provides an engaging way to begin conversations about safety, peer pressure, personal responsibility, and the courage to make good choices.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is simply say no.
