The book is full of typos and errors because it was an experiment--what would it be like for me, while grieving, to let myself show up unedited? If it were polished and edited, part of the heart of the adoptee grieving experience would have been erased. So many people don't tell their stories because they are afraid of being wrong, afraid of being judged. Please, if you want to tell your story, tell it. Your story matters whether you use commas correctly or not. I promise.
