Also included: the wildly unfiltered wisdom of fellow hikers whom I met on the (mile for mile) most beautiful trail in America, most of whom carried everything they owned on their backs and still managed to offer better life advice than your college roommate with the podcast.
By the end, you'll either want to hike the trail yourself... or at least sit in the dirt with a granola bar and pretend.
