Santa's factory has been updated with time-saving technology and brand-new gadgets that have kicked toy production into high gear, leaving Santa with unexpected free time just a day before Christmas Eve! With everything running ahead of schedule, Santa and Mrs. Claus decide to take a break on a deserted island where the sun no longer glistens off newly fallen snow. Instead, it's the sea that gives the luster of diamonds to objects below. But hold on a minute, the island isn't as empty as they thought! There's a slithering snake, a mischievous monkey, and a chatty toucan who sneak aboard Santa's sleigh! When Santa realizes he's delivered the wrong presents on Christmas Eve, can he fix the mix-up and make things right? And will he ever manage to get the three sneaky stowaways back to their island home?
