Destiny has always belonged to the gods.
Hidden from the mortal world, Sanctuary Stronghold has welcomed the descendants of the Greek gods for centuries. There, the sacred Claiming Ceremony reveals where each Sireborne belongs. Some are Claimed into one of the Nine Dominions. Others remain Unclaimed, dedicating their lives to the Devotions.
Both have purpose.
Both have a place.
Ari arrives expecting answers.
Instead, the ceremony leaves her with questions no one can explain.
As impossible events begin to unravel centuries of unquestioned tradition, Ari finds herself drawn toward truths buried deep within the Stronghold-and into the path of a guarded Tideborne commander who may be one of the few willing to help her uncover them.
But the deeper Ari digs, the more dangerous the truth becomes.
Because if destiny can be questioned...
...then everything the gods built may be founded on a lie.
