Tim Higgins is a Certified Financial Planner(TM) practitioner, Chartered Financial Consultant(R), and author of Pay for College Without Sacrificing Your Retirement. He has appeared on the Lou Dobbs radio show, MSNMoney, CNNMoney, and in the Wall Street Journal, Money magazine, SmartMoney magazine, and U.S. News. He was named a Five Star Wealth Manager in Boston magazine. Tim began managing his own financial planning practice after graduating from Wesleyan University in 1999. He has served as a staff accountant for several leading accounting firms in Pinellas County, Florida, until establishing his own practice with his wife, Karen Hajek, CPA, in 1996.
