Clare Brant is Professor Emeritus of Eighteenth-Century Literature and Culture at King's College London where for many years she was Co-Director of the Centre for Life-Writing Research. She is a General Editor of the Palgrave series Studies in Life Writing, and a founding editor of the European Journal of Life Writing.
