Clara Haggard couldn't escape the past, so she's determined to murder her way out of it.
Instead of going to the soda fountain with friends and flirting with young men, Clara spends her Friday night watching the bloody trench coat of her victim burn. He deserved it, Clara tells herself. Just like the others she has killed. The sweat drips down her forehead on that July night in Brooklyn. Clara stands in her backyard, dolled up with the makeup she hides from her father to seduce her victims. One man closer to her goal, and the voices in her head would finally go away. No one, not even her priest, can stop her.
Oliver Anderson discovers his brother's body lying on the floor in his apartment with a stab wound to the chest. His brother shouldn't have been cheating on his wife. Oliver should have done more to stop him from meeting with some young woman. Yet, he did not. And now his brother is dead. Oliver must hunt down the person responsible. He promised his brother's wife this.
When Clara sets her sights on Oliver as the last man standing between her and freedom, will he survive long enough to right the wrongs his brother left behind?
Until Your Father Comes Home is a standalone, twisty, suspenseful psychological thriller.
