Habakkuk means "One who embraces" or "One who folds his hands"
Unfortunately, these qualities were getting harder to find among
God's people in the 7th century B.C. Rather than conform to
what he saw, Habakkuk administered a little "tough love" any
southern momma can recognize!
Our Sovereign Savior calls us (His children) to walk by faith and
not by sight - According to His principles. At face value, this seems like an "easy enough concept."
However, in today's culture, many Christians struggle to stay
connected to God and experience true hope, rest, and peace.Walking by Faith means obeying the one true God - Despite what's happening in our culture. Walking by Faith requires tenacity, faithfulness, and trust in the One whom we cannot see, touch, or hear.
