This course has been written to be used in workshops for married couples, and singles interested in what the Bible says about marriage.
Suggested workshop schedule options include:1. 6 weeks (2 hour sessions one day per week)
2. 6 days (Monday-Saturday, 7:00pm-9:00pm) The relationship of marriage effects society for generations to come. The principles set out in this course will help to set your relationships on solid ground that will be able to stand the test of time. This is our opportunity to share our faith about what we have proven is effective in the life of anyone who would believe. We see couples walking in the abundance of love as they grow in knowledge of God's perfect plan for their marriage. This course will help you renew your mind to the things that demonstrate love and remove any thinking that has been a hindrance to your relationship. "Individuals anticipating marriage can benefit from the foreknowledge of the challenges that they may face in marriage. They will be equipped with effective weapons of warfare that will help them endure the tests of love that will surely come". We will focus on what God's word has to say about His covenant, becoming one, the importance of forgiveness, how to prosper, how to free your home of strife, while committing to harmony, effective spiritual warfare and more. You will see dramatic change in your thinking, through this course and increase the joy of your relationship.
Author Biography
Robert and Octavia Sanders wrote this course in obedience to a divine calling by God with a deep concern for family relationships. They believe God's plan and desire is to see every family experience the joy of everything good. Every family has the opportunity to prosper and find love and peace for themselves and their future generations. They believe that everyone who has completed this course is capable of sharing what they have learned with others.
They were married for 32 years and together raised their 6 children. A tribute to Robert has been included on the back cover of both books after his sudden death in June of 2008. Because of the vision that the both of them shared, Octavia is continuing to train other couples to teach the "Walking in Abundance for Life" Marriage Enrichment and Preparation Course. Through their dedication to Christian ministry and devoted study of the Word of God, Robert and Octavia allowed the Lord to use them to begin a marriage ministry, where they mentored many couples. Bringing back hope into what could seem like the "end", they helped renew the love within couples by sharing the love of God, and keeping them focused, encouraged and excited about their marriage. They demonstrate a humble and submitted heart for the Lord and for the work of the ministry especially towards married couples. With Robert's passing, Octavia has stayed motivated and continues to spread God's love for healthy vibrant relationships in Christian homes and families. In addition to her excellent scholastic accomplishments, she has proven her leadership ability by organizing a marriage enrichmrnt workshop in several churches. She is one of the most dependable team players you will meet. Her good judgment and mature outlook ensure a logical and practical approach to her endeavors.
