Wang, twelve-years-old and lazy, dreams of becoming rich and powerful. He refuses to work in the wheat fields all his life, like his father. Walking Through Walls is a fantasy chapter book set in sixteenth-century China and based on an ancient Chinese tale. It includes reading comprehension questions, activities, and information about the Ming Dynasty period and the Chinese dragon. It will be an excellent addition to any child's school or home library.
