Walking Writings: The First Thirty-Three is a collection of thirty-three walks and the observations that came from them.
Written one walk at a time, these pieces follow neighborhood sidewalks, dirt trails, open spaces, changing weather, passing conversations, dogs on decks, birds in trees, and the small details that often go unnoticed when moving too quickly.
There are no lessons to teach and no destination to reach. Each walk begins with the same idea:
Unforced Movement.
Moving without trying to improve anything.
What follows are simple observations, quiet moments, unexpected memories, and the experience of paying attention to what appears along the way.
