Carmen T. Bernier-Grand es autora de numerosos libros para niños, ente ellos Picasso: I The King, Yo el rey; Alicia Alonso: Prima Ballerina y Diego: Bigger than Life, este último con el galardón Pura Belpré. Carmen da charlas sobre su trabajo y sobre la historia de Puerto Rico, donde se crio, a estudiantes de escuela primaria. Actualmente vive en Portland, Oregón.
Carmen T. Bernier-Grand is the author of numerous books for children, including Picasso: I The King, Yo el rey; Alicia Alonso: Prima Ballerina; and Diego: Bigger than Life, a Pura Belpré honor book. She speaks about her work and the history of Puerto Rico, where she grew up, to elementary students. She lives in Portland, Oregon. Alyssa Bermúdez ha ilustrado numerosos libros para niños, entre ellos los dos de Lucía Luchadora, la serie Amelia Chamelia y My Singing Nana. Estudió ilustración y animación en Fashion Institute of Technology. Alyssa nació y se crio en la ciudad de Nueva York y tiene raíces puertorriqueñas.
