Reeves\u003c\/b\u003e is an editor of many award-winning picture books and novels for children and adults. His work often focuses on American history, and he is passionate about editing books that celebrate diversity, equality, and inclusion. He was one of the founding instructors for the School of Visual Arts MFA Design Program. Reeves lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. \u003cb\u003eDuncan Tonatiuh\u003c\/b\u003e is an award-winning author-illustrator whose accolades include a Pura Belpré Medal and multiple honors, the Robert F. Sibert Medal, the Tomás Rivera Mexican American Children's Book Award, the Américas Award, the Jane Addams Children's Book Award, and multiple Texas Bluebonnet Award Master List selections and \u003ci\u003eNew York Times\u003c\/i\u003e Best Illustrated mentions. Both Mexican and American, Tonatiuh aims to create images and stories that honor the past but are still relevant to people today, especially children.
