"When God Says Go" speaks to would-be missionaries, tackling theological and practical concerns to help them find success in their calling. The book also speaks to churches that send missionaries. Written to help the church be more effective in missions as well as guiding them through the process of selecting missionaries to serve, the book offers insight to questions, plans, and responsibilities that sometimes get overlooked.
The author shares from his heart and from his own 40 years of experience as a missionary and pastor. Born in the 50's, high school in the 60's then off to war in Vietnam. In 1975, he gave his heart to Jesus. Denny has smuggled Bibles with Open Doors, spent 5 years as a missionary among garbage collectors in Egypt, and planted a Church in NJ and served 7 years as the Pastor of Saar Fellowship in Bahrain. He now lives in the USA, teaching Christians to share their faith with Muslims. He frequently visits North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. As Jerry Garcia would say, "What a long, strange trip it's been!"
