Some people have their lives planned to a T, Payton Lee was certainly no stranger to that kind of meticulous prep. But all that planning went out the window during his junior year of high school, along with the loss of his best friend and dad. Now, he suffers through the stagnancy of community college and still living at home. Until he meets Jada.
Jada Knight, a figure skater from Canada, has travelled to Vermont for college and is struggling on her own with paying for her dream. When Payton tells her about the National American Ice Dancing Competition, she doesn't pass up the chance. The problem? She can't seem to nail a move that could bring her the win. Can Payton put his physics skills to the test to help her?
And as the two get closer, life brings a series of plot twists into his not-so-boring life anymore-like his ex best friend. Will he finally be able to face his past? And more importantly-who he can become moving forward?
