Where Will We Go From Here? 2018 and beyond recaps this author's previous book Three Gifts: The Eras of Science, Medicine, Religion and picks up from where that book left off, as it tackled the mystery of the disappearing churches. Auriel thought there was no new era in sight when she published Three Gifts in 2014, so she was amazed when 2018 arrived with so many similarities to 1968 and with all the earmarks of a new era. This book takes us even further than her previous book on the eras and provides dates for them all. It shows the surprising direction that science and medicine are taking and how religion may play a part. The human side of the challenge to churches today is highlighted, with new possibilities in view. Our world is full of questions about such topics as: identity, immigration and life hereafter. This new book shines a spiritual light on those subjects, while it invites the reader to put together the pieces of our world puzzle.
Author Biography
Auriel Wyndham Livezey, a native of Australia, gained an international perspective in her mid-teens, when her family moved abroad and lived in Canada, Europe and the United States. She has made her home in Southern California since 1963. Auriel took part in photographic modeling, and some commercial film work, during her youth in Sydney. She worked in the banking industry in Toronto, London and Minneapolis. Her time in London also included runway modeling for a fashion house that sold to worldwide buyers. With a deep interest in and love of spiritual matters, Auriel's desire to aid others through the means of spiritual healing propelled her, while still a young mother, into this work for over four decades. During that time, Auriel wrote articles and gave inspirational talks to audiences ranging in number from 15 to 5,000. Her second marriage was to Glen Livezey, who was likewise engaged in a healing practice and who had lectured in many countries on that subject. Since his passing in 1993, Auriel has devoted the preponderance of her time to writing, publishing, speaking engagements, and the running of Mountaintop Publishing.
