Author Biography
Charlotte Denny Henley has enjoyed being a fitness trainer, speaker, business owner, and college professor in the US and Canada. Her areas of expertise are active living, fitness, physical education, holistic wellness and health promotion. In Canada, she worked for ParticipACTION, using social marketing to increase physical activity among Canadians. She is a Certified True Colors Personality Facilitator and Wellness Coach. She was awarded a Special Achievement Award from the Province of Ontario for distinguished contribution to the field of fitness and was the 2004 Huron Business Woman of the Year. Charlotte currently lives in Huron, SD and enjoys the wide open spaces and small town living. Her and her husband, Garney Henley, a Canadian and US Football Hall of Famer, enjoy six grown children between them. She tries to live everyday by the principles outlined in her book Eat Close to Mother Nature, Go Outside and Play and Think Good Thoughts. At 64, she is still learning to overcome fears and fulfill her dreams. Whole Weigh is her debut book.
