Gus has a foot in the academic and artistic worlds and has always worked in high-stress environments. After a decade in professional kitchens, he went from the frying pan into the fire when he was elected one of the first Greens on Bristol City Council.
Despite loving the gym and good food, his health declined over the years. Battling along on very little sleep, and relying on alcohol to bring the quiet at the end of the day was a recipe for disaster. After suffering two breakdowns and severe depression Gus embarked on a quest to discover what made him feel happiest within himself, and by doing so, discovered the key was in his breath.
