Why There is No Climate Crisis uses science-based facts to reveal why, despite recent warming, there is no climate crisis.
Using data from highly respected sources, Thomas Kurz shows how severe weather and other predicted climate catastrophes are not increasing -- or are in decline -- and provides the scientific reasons behind these trends. The climate has always been cyclical, and this book examines past climate cycles in detail. Historical records are presented that convincingly show how cold climates are detrimental to societies, while warm cycles lead to prosperity, with Modern Warming being no exception. As Kurz demonstrates, we are currently at the top of a warm climate cycle, and he shares the reasons why we will likely enter a cold climate cycle after 2030. Satellite measurements show that climate models -- upon which climate fears are based -- overestimate warming by nearly two-and-a-half times. Using data from peer-reviewed scientific literature, Kurz shows how this amplification is greatly exaggerated and totally offset by cooling from the shade provided by increased low cloud cover.
Because this two-and-a-half-fold magnification of warming does not exist, there is no climate crisis -- and there will not be one.
