In Wisdom Is For Everyone, Dr. Paquette uses the current period that some have described as "the great apostasy," a period in which our society has moved away not from a particular religion but from religion as such, as a springboard to discuss a way back to a life in which wisdom, virtue and sanity (all components of a true religion) are seen as reasonable and life-giving pursuits. To accomplish this, Paquette first looks briefly at the foundation and development of wisdom in the ancient world before turning to Jesus Christ and His Church in order to show how Jesus not only elevated this wisdom tradition but personally gave all of us access to a truly Divine Wisdom. Along this journey, Paquette draws upon those who dedicated their lives to following Christ and His teachings in order to offer readers a map to help them reach the laudable attainable goal of true happiness and fulfillment.
