Talabiis a postdoctoral researcher at the North American and Postcolonial Chair, Universität Bremen, where her research focuses on Black diasporic commons, queer discourses of resistance, and narratives of alternative and ecocentric feminist futures. She completed her PhD in 2023 under the North American and Postcolonial Chair, Universität Bremen.
