Looking beyond sensationalized figures, Jones uncovers different trends of female criminality through American history--trends that reveal the evolving forms of oppression and abuse in our culture. Ann Jones is a scholar, journalist, photographer, and the author of ten books of nonfiction, including Kabul in Winter.
